The movie was great! The book was full of events and emotions, but they captured the heart of it in the movie.

Complicated family story, traumatic childhood, one of the best films of this year

actors in the movie portrayed the real-life story of the Walls family magnificently. The sequence of events led you through the demon of the father past and desire for a better life for his family; but like with families... the ability is there, however lack of access and opportunity. In spite of dysfuctionality, of this family the children ability to survive and persevere was a great ending.
