Great performance!

Think this movie should be shown along with "DunKirk". It would give a visual to the historical accounts.

Gary Oldman brought a vulnerability and human quality to the steadfast curmudgeon of an old man we've all come to know so well as Winston Churchill. The film told a powerful story by bringing to light the precarious and lonely moments experienced by one of the greatest leaders of the 20th century. Fantastic film.

Have seen a test screening and what seems to be the final version and found both to be compelling and easily worth seeing. (Then again, I saw "Blade Runner" on opening day, without the voice over, and loved the film.) "Darkest Hour" will stand the test of time, unlike "Suicide Squad", which was only a box office wonder.
