This was a REALLY GOOD movie. However, I think that all of the comedic moments made He-Man a bit corny! I don't think this type of movie should've been so humourous. I loved the action and the storyline of this movie. I just think that it shouldn't have been so comedic. The film could've done without the comedic tone.

As a boy growing up in the 80s, this movie brought me back in time. I watched the cartoon and played with the action figures for hours. This film was a reimagining of that cartoon. It preserved the hilarity of the animation while trying to bring the mythology and legend to a newer audience. It definitely had a perfect balance of cheese and action. I would say this film is made for those boys who watched the cartoon and played with the toys. Not really a female oriented film although the female characters were great. And yes, bring on She-Ra! I cannot wait for the sequel!!!
