The movie was just as good as the first! The start of the movie threw me off with Amy in Europe with Laury all grown up. I caught up to idea of future/present idea, and I was definitely enjoying that! Overall, great movie to make you laugh, cry, and feel all warm inside! ❤️

I thought the film struck a balance between levity and gravity. The performances were fantastic and really spoke to the life experiences of L.M. Alcott. I also really appreciated the meta-approach to the storyline, wherein the audience got what it wanted within the book (the fairytale ending), and the more realistic audience members also got their realistic end. The updated critical analysis on the state of women in society was a fantastic addition and brought the modern audience into the story.

The Laura Dernaissance continues with her turn as Marmie. Meryl Streep is obviously perfect as Aunt March. Real. Surprised at Bob Odenkirk as Father but fully enjoyed his performance. Chris Cooper was amazingly heartbreakingly authentic. I could have just watch Timothee Chalamet's scene telling Jo he loves her and getting let down and rated this movie five stars. ALL OF THE SISTERS WERE CAST BEYOND PERFECTLY. Florence Pugh steals the show!

I loved it. I laughed. I cried. It was like I was there with them experiencing all the things. I could relate to them as well
