This movie surpassed my expectations for an animated feature! The action was on point. The characters were dynamic. Really enjoyed myself! Great to also learn about lesser known people in history.

From beginning to end Bilal was captivating. The quality was amazing. I believe many will find the movie empowering. The creators have done an outstanding job telling this story.

Great story with awesome graphics, wish we saw more of what happened in between the years. Please go see it!!

This movie is very educational and informative as well as interesting for being a children’s movie. Not only did it shed light on slavery and freedom but it also touched on religious freedom and beliefs. You really get to see how the main character was brought up and see him grow into a man that risks his life for the equality of himself and others.
