The target demographic was supposed to be teens, but it didn't seem to fit. It felt like they tried to appeal to many demographics, but didn't manage to quite fit any of them well. That said, it's worth a watch and is groundbreaking in the portrayal of a closeted teenager from an accepting family.

Old fashioned love story set in a new age world of teenagers. Definitely not sappy or a chic flick though. Good flick for most ages.
