The movie tried to be too much. Slapstick and sentimental, but kind of missed on both. I thought the alligator scene was kind of stupid and not funny. I also unlimited didn’t think that Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell had any chemistry. I did have a few laughs and enjoyed the woman who played Reese Witherspoon’s older sister, and I liked her sister that was getting married. Overall, I think this will be a time filler on Amazon for people to watch when they’re looking for something that they haven’t seen. This is not a great movie but be would worth watching if you were bored.

Pretty lame. Reese can really belt a song tho! Seemed like they worked very hard to check every box of type and race and color of person/ it’s great when it is organic, seems forced when not

It was cute and funny at times. Reese and Will Ferrell were both great in their roles but they had zero chemistry as a couple, so them getting together at the end felt really unbelievable. Couldn’t they just be friends? Also, why did the entire family have to give Will a ride to his daughter? The joke about the matching cars didn’t land because it didn’t make sense why they were all there
