Whether this movie works is ultimately tied to how coherent Prometheus and the inevitable sequel lead into Alien. This movie tells a coherent story, but by answering questions of origin from Aliens, runs the risk of being like midi-chlorians in the Start Wars prequels. It's not nearly as dumb, but it runs the risk of being less interesting than the mystery was.Entertaining, worth a view for fans

It was okay, i forgot the other films so it was hard to piece together. Lots or blood and gore. I loved the actors!!!
