It was alright. The jumpscares were predicable. The scene in the beginning was really awesome!

it was incredibly difficult to tell where the characters were and what was happening in different places. Even with the addition of some places cards being listed, the inconsistency of them left the viewer confused. There were also seemingly time jumps and and a jumpy filmic language that was unclear. It is difficult to make the nun scary past basic jump scares so I feel for y’all but she wasny

Sadly, it was not my favorite. Jump scares were spoiled in the trailer and the use of sound as a scare tactic became annoying. The acting was very good but the film lighting was way too dark.

A predictable entry in the conjuring franchise that does nothing to reinvent the series and follows the same story beats as all the other entries. None of the characters get any new developments from the first film and the new additions aren't memorable. Valek is rarely in this and only shows up in the background until the end not feeling like a legit threat.
