It was all over the place. The beginning was difficult to follow. There didn't seem to be a clear story line.

Almost impossible for new comers to the franchise to watch this and enjoy it let alone want to watch the tv show.

Even though I saw every episode of the HBO series The Sopranos and enjoyed it tremendously, I found the film very confusing and extremely violent!! Also I found there was no plot. I did however think that the young Gandofini did a good job on portraying the young Tony Soprano. Unfortunately I can't recommend the film.

I think saying this movie was “Who Made Tony Soprano” felt so misleading. The movie told a story about Christopher’s father Dickie Moltisano who was not a part of The Sopranos at all. I saw glimpses of Tony’s future but selling this as a Soprano’s prequel would be a better sell than making people think it was a movie about what made Tony who he was. \r
