I give the movie 3.75/5 stars. Visually stunning with top-tier CGI and Matrix-level fight scenes, it leaned too comical for my taste—similar to Thor: Ragnarok. Still, the cast shined, especially Corenswet, Brosnahan, and Gathegi. The film delivers a powerful message about humanity and justice, making it great for younger audiences. Some characters, like Superman’s parents, fell flat, and the humor felt excessive at times. Standouts include the “Grand Central” kiss, vibrant color palette, and Krypto the dog. A fun, light-hearted film with meaningful undertones.

An improvement to the DC movie series. True to the comics while adapted for easy consumption with not-too-cringe humor. Awesome directing. Story is easy to follow along; characters' behavior makes sense. Great casts and script bringing out actors' special skills and highlights. Smooth CGI. Very good script balance. Lois Lane is very well presented as the smart, driven, brave, and just an ordinary woman, who is a relatable yet also admirable character, and not overpowering the other roles. Eve character is an excellent addition to show a different type of smart women.

Superman is a heartfelt, action packed, funny, and inspiring movie with standout performances from David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, and Nicholas Hoult. James Gunn knocked it out of the park with this one.
