Be prospered to laugh, cry, and dance!

I first saw In the heights in 2008 when I was 8 and absolutely feel in love with the play and the representation it brought of my block. Thirteen years later I was reminded how much I love Washington Heights and it’s community. The film stayed true to the play and the community of Washington Heights

One of best movie adaptations of a musical I’ve ever had the honour to see. I was already well aware of how phenomenal Lin Manuel Miranda’s story and song writing was (being a long time fan of the original musical) but I was simply blown away by how incredible this version of the musical was. The entire cast did an immaculate job, and I was beyond impressed at the direction Jon Chu took the story.

An incredible adaptation of an incredible musical. The cast is amazing across the bored and the vision of Jon Chu was just incredible. Can’t wait to see it over and over again on a big screen.
