It was fun to watch

I enjoyed this adaptation so much! I was anxious at the beginning because I have so much love for the 1994 Winona Ryder version. I thought the writing in this adaptation felt loyal to the original story but still fresh as a viewer today. The acting was spectacular because the relationships felt alive and immediate. I missed a few minutes of the beginning because of poor AMC Theater management-worst part is I have seen enough Little Women adaptations to know exactly what I missed!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! I was nervous at first that I wouldn’t like it because it seemed to appeal more to an older audience but that is not the case at all. The movie has some young recognizable characters that can draw in younger viewers and the story itself is just fantastic. I watched the film with my mom who read the books and she liked how the film included both of the little women books. I laughed and I cried throughout this movie I highly recommend and would definitely go see it again.

This was a great take on Little Women! I would have wanted for more character development for characters other than Jo, but Saoirse Ronan was a FABULOUS Jo!!
