It felt like the second season has maintained the epic scale of the first season but streamlined the story and editing to make it feel not as jumpy.

I enjoyed this screening. My boyfriend loved it. What I distincly remember from the first season was how visually stunning the graphics and CGI were. I did not have that same feeling for the first two episodes. It could have been seeing on the big screen is what made that difference. I will rewatch episodes 1 and 2 on my QLED tv with the 4K stream and see if that changes my mind. The story line continues seemlessly from the first season into season two, and the acting is two thumbs up.

While the stories were slightly better to follow and understand than the first season, the pacing at times was slow. It is easier to want to watch it to find out what will happen than the first season where it took a huge effort to make it through the episodes. The costumes and special effects were great.
