It was so much better than I originally expected. The plot was great and truly had me on the edge of my seat. The humor was perfect for my taste as well. Great movie all around.

The Sony/Mcu Sharing of Spiderman was the best way to honor Stan Lee Seeing that Spiderman was his favorite character that he created excellent movie Jake Gyllenhaal played a Great Mysterio. Whoo Spiderman!

An excellent addition to the Marvel Universe. Sony continues to show how much better it is to work with Marvel/Disney to keep continuity rather than splitting the universe, (I'm looking at you Venom).The movie does a fantastic job of showing that even if you have super powers, you are still human at the end of the day, and can make mistakes and want to live a "normal" life. There were some scenes where the CGI wasn't quite 100% (Spiderman vs Mysterio's illusions), but otherwise looked great!

The movie had excellent pacing, developing characters and plot elements steadily throughout the film while injecting segments of comedy and urgency to maintain a good emotional balance. I continue to like how Marvel movies incorporate vulnerabilities into their hero characters, making them more real and approachable, while providing inspiration that every one of us flawed individuals is capable of being a hero in our own way.
