Funny parts, a little slow to get started. Some of the supporting characters were weak

I love Melissa McCarthy! I really do... I usually enjoy her movies because they're really funny. Life of the Party though; I struggled. Yes, there were some laughs but the movie itself wasn't all that funny. Sorry! I know she'll make another good one so yes, I'll be there for that. It's a pass for me on Life of the Party.

Such a funny movie. Melissa McCarthy is always entertaining! Loved that it wasn't overly crass. Loved that the daughter embraced her mom being in college with her. Would love to see it again!
