This was a run of the mill coming-to-age teeny movie. The cast is likable but shallow with some funny moments. Though his narrative offers a valid perspective, the way in which Simon is portrayed comes off as a whiny, privileged kid that welds his sexuality like a disability.

Enjoyed the movie overall. Sharp jokes. Ending only so-so.

The first hour and 20 minutes were ok and the last 30 were great! It was heartwarming.
