Heartfelt movie

Movie was funny, poignant and gave a good perspective of hearing and hearing impaired viewpoints. I have only one criticism…the director showed us in so many ways that Ruby was the “interpreter” for her family and yet when the whole family came out to support her in a school choir festival and later on with a one on one with her father she never signed the lyrics to the songs she sang. Really?!?

A heartfelt family drama great for all ages. A few parts were slow but overall I definitely recommend streaming this movie if not seeing in the theatre. I even cried when she sang alone with her Dad.

Very good movie great story and engaging from start to finish.
