These kind of "disaster" movies always keep my attention. On the eve of world destruction it was interesting to see the dynamics of this family such as crisis management, reunification and love of one another play out. This is the real underlying story with the comet and its assault on the planet being the catalyst. Enjoyed the movie.

The plot twist were realistic and very plausible. Something everyone should consider should end of the world event happen.

The "happily" (hopeful?) ever after ending was a little cliche and there were not many plot twists and so the movie went as expected in that sense. But there was plenty of action and adversity to face along the way. Also, (Perhaps, it was the device I was viewing on?) some of the scenes (the fight scene in the back of the truck, for example) were very dark and hard to distinguish what was fully happening and who was who. In the end, it was an overall enjoyable film.

This movie has a little bit for everyone and shouldn't be missed
