Love Simon was a good film! The vice principal role was unbelievable. He was too silly to where it was almost inappropriate.Otherwise, the storyline was well written.My teen thought most kids today don’t care if someone has an alternative lifestyle though. She also questioned why most of the minority’s were of mixed race with the exception of the transgender male.

It started off a little slow, but it really built up to a spectacular ending. The trials and tribulations of stifling yourself for the sake of others because you are too ashamed to be your true self are explored in depth with honesty and emotion. A few fun scenes, and a story that will keep you guessing until the end.
