i loved the movie as it really showed the true reality and emotional damage that war causes in a different way than I've ever seen portrayed. Without hearing one bomb explode or seeing one drop of blood it captured the love, camaraderie and the joys of life and the hurt and damage that war causes. Loved the laughs and characters, thought it was a bit too long in places that could have been edited

Excellent mix of comedy and drama. I would have rated it higher but there was something about the characters that struck me as inauthentic - they seemed more to be scripted types than real people. Which would have been fine for a straight comedy, but made the dramatic parts less impactful.

A sad, moving film. Maybe too long.
