I really enjoyed the first Hot Tub Time Machine because it had a well written story that used the characters and developed them further in a comedic way. I approached this sequel with no expectations and was pleased that it continues the same formula, but introduces a more sophisticated time travel component and substitutes John Cousac for Adam Scott. This film is just different enough!
