Engaging, entertaining, well acted and directed. Never a boring moment!

Story is very unique and unusual but emotional and intriguing. All actors perfect for their roles. Sea creature very interesting and believable. Enjoyed the entire story and wondered how it would end.

Guillermo Del Torro has a way of creating emotion and compassion in his monsters. In The Shape of Water, Doug Jones emotes more in his layers of FX make up than any character you would see in a non FX movie. Octavia Spencer, Sally Hawkins, and Robert Spencer are the heart of this movie, combine that with a romantic score and it is the perfect ambiance for this movie.
