Diane Keaton remains the coolest. That dress tho.\r\rIt’s a vulnerable feeling telling a bad joke, and one I know well. Producer turned director Bill Holderman makes the brilliant choice of encouraging improv and using the full range of jokes, even the bad ones. Some are so bad the movie can't move on without making fun of them. It fosters a sense of familiarity that is hard to replicate when the actors react to that vulnerability, and that is definitely the goal. We are, all of us, hanging out with the girls.\r\rThe Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo, often referenced in the movie, is a perfect comparison
