I was thoroughly confused by this movie. It started out slow and with just one voice for all the other characters, the movie took a long time to develop. Technical aspects were good. Just did not understand it from the beginning.

Don't ever go to animated movies, but thought I would give it try ~~ was surprised when it ended because I thought it had only been playing for about 45 minutes, so when I saw it was actually an hour and a half, so to me that means I was entertained. It is not the type of movie I would see twice, and most likely won't go to that type of movie again ~~

A technically fascinating movie that left me ambivalent and my companion decidedly negative. The movie captures the gestures and quirks of humanity in an uncanny way, as well as the ennui of middle age and the ways in which humans so often damage each other without clear intention. At the same time, it is not an easy or fun movie to watch--or at least, it wasn't for us.

It was the strangest, most purposefully awkward film I have ever seen..can't decide whether it was good or bad..it was frustratingly awkward and made me anxious but beautifully animated and hauntingly human.
