It’s very subtle, but the subtlety is far reaching. It’s relatable to all who’ve ever been the fish out of water.

This was a really beautiful film. I think the film's pacing might be tough for some people, but I really loved it. The quirky characters and the humanity shown to all the men awaiting to gain asylum into the UK was wonderfully portrayed. The imagery flashing back to Syria and the metaphors expressed by the two leads talking were really well done. All the acting was excellent, but I particularly loved both male leads (Omar and Farhad), they were so expressive especially when they weren't talking.

\rBrings up a lot of questions about refugees and their lives in other countries.
