Every moment of in the heights feels like a extreme celebration and that feeling was very contagious, when the movie wasn't a party it was extremely beautiful and thoughtful. I did feel the long runtime but in the end it didn't made me enjoy the movie any less

I did enjoy the film. I had the privilege of seeing the stage play too and feel they kept true to the original script, for the most part. I appreciate that they included current day zeitgeist to this version, which made it even more relevant. It’s a win!

It was beautifully shot. The main character is a STAR. The songs, scenes, and characters were really beautiful and sincere. I just wish it was a little more Dominican (and ratchet). It felt like a cleaned up/watered down version for the general public. But I guess that’s what needs to get done. Also, maybe a few minutes too long.

Unfortunately could only watch the first 30 minutes due to technical difficulties. Would've been helpful to know upfront that it was not possible to airplay to the tv.
