This was a very intense, a bit over-the-top revenge drama. The acting was good, and the story was intriguing and kept me in suspense. But it was pretty unrealistic and made you take some pretty large leaps to believe that this could be possible. I think certain parts of it could have been more fleshed out, but the suspense and slow unwinding of the story was well-done.

Good movie!

This is the first movie screening that I finally got to watch without any technical difficulties! Yay for 2021! \rGood movie screening to start, too! I used to had to pause the movie or accidently turned it off, or my phone was changing to sleep mode, then I lost connection and didn't get to watch the movie. Lots of oops happening before. For this one, I only experienced 1 freezing moment. I was scared to touch it, but then I hit rewind, pause, hit some buttons, and it is running again. Just 1 time. Thank Goodness. Regarding the movie, I love the lead actress, Carey Mulligan. She is great.

I thought it was really well done. Slow at times, but I think that made the thrill of it better. I think this film was as much a take on date rape / sexual harassment as it was a take on how someone can be consumed by grief, so much so that it controls their life. The lead character was great. It was really well cast overall. I like the peppered in comedy to lighten up a harsh topic. It made me feel uneasy at times, but I think that is what it was supposed to do. I have definitely recommended it to friends via social media.
