Interesting approach to concepts of abandonment, family, acceptance, and respect for differences. A little slow in parts and I thought the characters could have been developed more. Good acting and comedic elements.

There were some funny parts to the movie, unfortunately a lot of glitching got in the way of full enjoyment. I gave it 3 stars because I saw it as an okay movie, it wasn't a waste of my time, however, I'm also not sure that I would add it to my movie collection or watch it again.

A light, funny and heartwarming story- somewhat predictable, but still satisfying. The sub-story of the father's journey as an undocumented immigrant and the son's growing understanding of that was glossed over but worth noting.
