It really captured the culture of the Heights at that time and the music was great. I wish I can get to see it on stage one day.

It was a great adaptation from the original musical hit. The singers were excellent, the story maintained the plight of the immigrant. It is a hopeful yet realistic view of the joy and work ethic of all immigrants seeking the American dream.

In the Heights captures the magic, music, and colors of that Upper Manhattan neighborhood with breathtaking strokes! I excitedly welcome the Musical genre back to the big screen!
