Very well made film. Everyone gave great & authentic performance. Very impressed with the focus on the here & now infused w/ Greg's/Mann's wonderful humor as a friendship grew rather than with a grim focus. Loved the scene where Greg retreated from his mom as she berated him into visiting Rachel, crawling to his room once at the top of the stairs. They both gave a great performance - very funny!

original film about finding meaning and hope at a young age the 3 young actors were outstanding and the script was well done without feeling contrived. I loved it

I thought this movie was absolutely lovely. It's quirky and charming, and, at some points, downright devastating. We get to see a snapshot of a friendship and the love and grief it brings, and it's wonderful.

I think this movie really accurately shows teens as their quirkiest, yet deepest. No one believes death is a possibility, or in this case, a probability. They were willing her to live and she was preparing them to live on. Their remakes of the movies were so clever. Eerie to hear Roy Orbison, who also lives on through his dreamy music.
