Great depiction of Elvis's life and loved the depiction along with real life pics/video.

The movie was good. Far better than expected and it exceeded my expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at this perspective on the story of Elvis. It introduced a new perspective and make much of his story feel fresh and new. It also showed a lot of details about him that wasn’t previously well noted. I loved the performance by Astin Butler. He put on an Oscar Worthy depiction of Elvis.

I was intrigued from the beginning. I appreciate that they showed Elvis his inspiration from black R&B and blues. I was worried that they would omit that important aspect. I thoroughly enjoyed the moving and would recommend it to others

Solid biopic, Austin Butler may not look exactly like The King but he embodies Presley from his opening scenes. Tom Hanks is great as the Colonel, whom we alternatively sympathize with and despise. The musical scenes are amazingly high energy. As with most of these films, it's a bit episodic and a LOT is left out or glossed over; Elvis crammed a lot into his 42 years. Overlong but enjoyable!
