I haven't seen the original so I can't compare. The best about the movie were the great xtreme scenes.

Good movie. The stunts are fabulous. Luke Bracey did a good job but his not Keanu Reeves or Patrick Swayze. I still prefer the original movie.

I would recommend this movie honestly only if there was very little scary movies but. The ending wasn't very good and not much is explained I get the way the direction was going with but this is not a great movie. I honestly would not buy it but I might rent it again for $3.99 or something like that. At least this wasn't as bad as Catwoman or Cats.

The film had just enough suspense to keep the audience doubting themselves haha! In the end those who believe in the supernatural will explain it differently than those who don't.
