I really enjoyed this adaptation of Wuthering Heights. It’s absorbing, intense, and deeply unsettling. The film doesn’t romanticize love. Instead, it portrays it as obsessive, destructive, and emotionally toxic. The central relationship feels more like an unhealthy fixation than a fairytale romance, which makes it powerful and uncomfortable to watch. I’d recommend it to anyone who appreciates complex characters and darker explorations of love.

It's a very cinematic film, and the visuals are beautiful. The story is very compelling and emotional at times, made me cry, so I would recommend.

I really liked the movie but I have not read Wuthering Heights or seen any other film adaptation. This movie will definitely have very polarizing reviews depending on how people prepare themselves before seeing the film. If the audience who would usually be interested in a historical romance can put aside everything they know about history and the original source material i think they might enjoy this movie but I can guarantee that many people will not enjoy it given how much it deviates.
