Sound of Metal is a powerful film, anchored by a powerhouse performance from Riz Ahmed and sturdy direction from first time filmmaker, Darius Marder. \r\rThe film follows Ruben, a punk rock drummer, as he suddenly begins to go deaf. Ruben must struggle with his inner demons while trying to find meaning in his new inaudible world. \r\rRiz Ahmed, from Nightcrawler and Venom fame, is heart and soul of this film.
