Loved it! Wish they hadn't taken the lottery so much out of the plot but appreciated the expansion of Sonny's backstory.

Overall, I thought the film was great. Anthony Ramos was dynamic on screen and really shined throughout the film. My only drawback was the movie’s lack of authentic representation of the people of DR and PR. Melissa Barrera herself is Mexican. And, therefore, the many Afro-Latinos that make up the Latin community were sacrificed for the sake of Hollywood’s ethic uniformity.

The film has a lot of energy and works well, the cast gave some very interesting performances. As a Latino myself, the only thing I want it to do was dance alongside the songs. Also the visuals brigs a lot of joy.\rI would recommend this film to my friends once it comes out.
