A love letter to Latin America and its immigrants in NYC. A nicely done adaptation!

A fun musical adaptation with superb direction, even if it doesn't hit the highs of the stage musical.

This was a beautiful adaptation of the Broadway musical! Anthony Ramos was an excellent Usnavi replacement. He brought so much emotion and energy to the character. \rThe film really did capture the essence of an NYC summer and the spice from Washington Heights.
