This was 4.5 out of 5 stars. It was funny and heartwarming. Even though I am not deaf I could relate to them as a family working through supporting each other the best way they know how.

A great depiction of what it must be like for the deaf in this world. Thought the acting was outstanding. Great music!

This movie was really good and showed how a family overcomes difficulties and bonds together. I loved at the end of the movie how they were now a part of the community. I like the examples of the the sound going off to resemble what the family is experiencing. I would not recommend it to families of children who cannot read yet, my boys who are struggling readers needed me to read the captions.

Just an absolute beautiful film. I really loved the way it was shot, handling the deaf and hearing back and forth. Acting was fantastic! Great to see Marlee Matlin again.
