good tension, emotional stakes, solid effects. one of the better disaster films I've seen

Good, kinda predictable but over all good.

This is a fantastic action/drama movie. Similar to World War Z, this edge of your seat film follows a family escaping the disasters that follow several asteroid attacks (instead of zombies). The cast is top notch, giving the best performances of their career. The director keeps things moving at an exciting pace with great special effects.
