The movie was too cliche and everything was so perfect. No meat or body or build up or suspense

The premise was good. Initially, it seemed that Maria and Anderson were headed for a romance, then it took a turn regarding Maria and Zoe. The makeup on the actors detracted from performances -- I assume that Ms. Lopez was to appear to be more aged than she usually looks. And while Milo Ventimiglia is a terrific actor, he is currently beloved as Jack Pearson on This Is Us, and its hard to see him differently. I loved Leah Remini, although she too suffered from the heavy make-up application. Many of the actors seemed to be forcing their part. I think it also hurts that we know so much about the actors these days that when they are less than convincing, it shows. I would not see or recommend this movie. Where I saw the movie is usually a fantastic movieplex. This screening, like so many others with other companies, seemed slapdash. There was an announcement at the beginning by a staffer who couldn't be heard. The lights were left on for the first few minutes of the movie. Forming the lines to get in was cramped and not well though out as it affected moviegoers not for this screening.

Seen plot 100 times; the kids swearing joke was worn out. Just no real surprises

It was just okay. Slow with no emotional excitement. I'd recommend if there wasn't anything else to watch.
