Too much violence and not enough story.

Very difficult story to follow mainly because main character, Kevin Costner, mumbled his lines to the point where he was almost inaudible. Not one of his better movies. Action scenes and special effects kept my interest, but beyond that I had to do all I could to stay involved. Audience applauded the movie when it was over but that could be because they were glad it was over.

I really tried to keep an open mind about it, but it just wasn't very good. And it's a shame because I really like Kevin Costner. It lacked depth. There were too many characters and not enough depth to them. And some of them were just getting on my nerves. Like Oldman's character, got on my nerves and felt like he was overacting! Also, it was somewhat unbelievable and cheesy in some parts.
