I enjoyed this movie. It gives a perspective of how some Mexicans feel about the US

It was good, but not as funny as I expected.

The story of a son of an immigrant facing the reality of his father’s death and the realities of his father’s other family is incredibly compelling. \r\rUnfortunately when you inject the half brother and create the buddy comedy elements it cheapens what could have been a compelling narrative. The movie was interesting, however it struggled to balance the story creating an uneven experience in which you’re only invests in half the story. \r\r3 stars for execution and the potential of what could have been.

A little all over the place. No real character development. We didn’t even get to see the wedding or if Renato bonded with Emilio when he got back. Also that baby did not know that man he could’ve just went back to Mexico with his real son Renato. Also how did he have time to build a plane if he was sick????? Just so many questions
