The movie was very heartwarming. I never considered how it would feel to be born into a deaf family. The parents were simply hilarious and I enjoyed watching them. The portion of the movie when the sound was cut really made me feel empathetic towards the whole family. I would definitely recommend this movie.

CODA is a sincere coming-of-age movie that smartly stays in its lane without trying to reinvent the wheel and delivers a familiar yet irresistibly warm feel-good story. The plot is predictable at almost every turn, but a central, star-making performance from the precocious Emilia Jones is more than enough to keep you tuned in. Mark my word, she's going to be one to look out for this coming decade.
