Lazy and unimaginative story. Very disappointed in Pixar.

If you've seen any film ever where two people from "opposite sides of the track" meet and fall in love, where one person is struggling with upholding family tradition based heavily on stereotype, you've seen this movie. The animation is sub-par, except a few scenes where it steps it up. Overall it's like tepid mac and cheese: you can eat it, but you're not really enjoying it.

As an adult, I wouldn't go see Elemental. I gave it a two rating because it is an ok movie for kids. The fact that it was a cartoon kept my grandchildren interested. I saw on the news today (6/19/23) where the movie was the lowest weekend debut for a Pixari title earning only 29.6 million. I don't wonder why.
