I would not have paid full price for this movie. The story was good... but it was just killing after killing and so it was repetative slow.

The acting was admirable from the part of Johnny Depp as was portraying a role unlike many others that he has played. Yet the overall vision and execution of that vision was missing to really tie all the character development together. There were several relationships introduced but never explored. Perhaps Black Mass should have focused less on trying to be the next Godfather movie. Worth a watch
