It was a bit scary for an 8 year old. I thought it was entertaining for the adults.

Very entertaining for my little one.

With a PG rating, I thought it wouldn't be too scary for kids. However I think the puppet, Slappy, was rather scary for kids. I wouldn't recommend this movie to other friends with kids.

The youngsters will love it if accompanied by adult who keeps them from being scared.
