It's a spy thriller trying to pass itself off as an action movie. The problem being that the spy plot is straight from the 80s, and the action is just needlessly brutal violence. The sci/first part of the movie gives it a slight elevation, but it never delves into any explanations. I'd like to say the acting was good, but Costner can't elevate a subpar script, and Jones just looked bored.

The movie wasn't that good, it's a good concept but the character that Costner played didn't play out well.

The acting and action was great. I have always enjoyed movies based on cloak and dagger story lines. Unfortunately, the whole memory transfer thing was so scifi, it took away from the realism and created a few awkward scenes that seem a little forced. To many far fetched scenes.
