I thought the movie was well cast and the photography was excellent. I only gave it four starts since I thought it had several scenes that ran too long and the amount of graphic violence was excessive.

The movie told a very compelling American story of WWII, with excellent cast, cinematography, and direction. I might have to see it again.

It was extremely well done. If you don't cry at least once during this movie, you have no heart.

Not your stereotypical war movie! Still action-filled, but has meaning and substance that most other movies in this category lack.
