It was a likeable movie but more of a promo for the Christian religion than an epic type movie. If only the religion were more in tune with the promo!!

It was an ok movie. Good to see a different side to the story. The preview made it seem more interesting than it was.

The film was enjoyable at times...it had a lot of potential, due to the actors it had in it. But it never quite pushed itself to becoming what it could have been. The message of The Resurrection of Jesus is historical and incredible. 'RISEN' could have been a made-for-TV or straight to video feature...Thank you for the pass and allowing me to pre-screen this film, but I give it 3 of 5 stars at best.

better than i had expected. well done with the geography, architecture, costumes, etc. a different angle of the Christ story , without too much overt evangelism .
