Always a good action movie if Gerard Butler is in it.

Great movie! Love Gerard Butler's Acting. Enjoyed the movie and plot definently got my emotions going along with shedding a tear or two. Definetly worth the watch. Wish there was a bit more background information about the comet and what the government was doing set up wise. Overall, I liked it and would have paid to see it in theaters.

It had suspense and drama. Scary at times for the kids :)

Greenland is a solid movie that I would classify as a disaster psychological thriller with family themes. Ultimately the movie settles in on thematic of Love and how extreme circumstances can help us forge forgiveness and perspective over past extenuating situations. Gerald Butler and Morena Baccarin perform well in the lead roles, and play off each other well; that includes the initial awkwardness in the initial part of the movie which we later learn is due to an extramarital affair, to resolving and moving past that issue in the face of a planet-level extinction threat. Offering some much needed hope and forgiveness is a welcome message for the times we live in.
